Eat The Rainbow- Delicious Italian Antipasto Recipe
#Momboss: What It Is Really Like To Have a Toddler At Work
Introducing one of my favorite quick, easy and most importantly, healthy salad recipes, the Antipasto Salad! For Italians, antipasto is typically an appetizer (or many- antipasti) full of meats, cheeses and olives, and salad traditionally is eaten after a meal, so this salad seems like a contradiction. For Americans, this is often a full meal, which is what I do with this salad.
You know I love color, and when I cook, i love to have at least 4 colors in every meal. In my house we talk a lot about eating the rainbow, and this is definitely a great example of how to do it.
Why Start Blogging Now?
I get asked this question so much that I figured a post is in order. People say all the time how “easy” I make it look to have my little one at work. I am so grateful for the HUGE compliment, I would be lying if I said it was always easy. For those of you who don’t know me yet, I am a fashion designer/ celebrity stylist who brings my little one to my studio with me nearly every day. People say it’s all about balance, I say poo to that, it’s all about the juggle. It’s about being able to jump from kid to work and back and forth (at least) twelve billion times.
5 Non-Tech Activities To Do With Your Toddler
I know, I know, it’s 2019 and a lot of people feel blogs are “dying” and instagram is all that matters. Well, I disagree. While yes, I love that you can post a pic and a little caption (perfect amount of commitment for this working mama), I genuinely want to share and help others.
Loving Me; The New Me
I am a mom who is also working full time as a fashion designer, and I bring my daughter to work with me. I am not going to lie to you she does spend some time on her iPad. I was the person who said I would NEVER let my kid watch an iPad. The honest to God truth is that sometimes I need 100% of my focus, and well the iPad captures 100% of hers.
I just wanted to share my experience because I know some of you out there are feeling exactly how I did when I was in your shoes right after having my daughter. I wanted to talk about my journey as a new mom. I felt very alone at times and to be honest it was really hard.
